Here are few, among the many, inspirations I discovered in blog land this week and that I want to share with you.
Centsational girl defined masculine style and explained how to successfully balance it with touches of feminine decor. I'm a big fan of masculine design- it has a kind of eclectic yet timeless and sophisticated look to it. See the post, and stunning images, here.
Susan at Between Naps on the Porch (great title!) posted images of a home tour in Savannah, Georgia and this is the view of the street that's lined with Live Oaks dripping in Spanish moss! The homes are beautiful but this street... oh, this street (sigh). Can you believe how beautiful these trees are? Can't you just picture yourself going on long walks along this street or reading a good book under these beauties? Susan even says that the view is prettier in person... is that even possible? See the post here.
Stacy at Conspicuous Style posted about designer Amy Bergman's amazing work. Here is just one image I can't get out of my mind- so unique! The color, the shape, the height... just stunning! Without that seat the stairs would likely go unnoticed. See the post here
Cassity's post at Remodalholic about renovating their staircase was informative, inspirational, and funny! They've done a fantastic job transforming a blah staircase into a beautiful focal point and her happy dance and newel post hugging pictures are worth a look. We all do happy dances in the privacy of our own homes when our renos turn out great- but most of us don't post pictures for all to see. See the post here
